What modern perms can accomplish, who may be a candidate, and why hair history matters before adding texture.
A perm is not one curl
Rod size, wrapping pattern, haircut, and styling can create very different kinds of curl, wave, and body. Start by showing me the movement you like, then we can talk about how your hair may respond.
Hair history can change the answer
Previous lightener, color, other chemical services, and current strength all count. Some hair is not a safe candidate. I would rather tell you no than force a service the hair cannot support.
Plan for a different routine
Chemically created texture changes how the hair should be cleansed, conditioned, dried, and styled. The result works better when the home routine is realistic for you.
