Why Professional Product Recommendations Matter

Why hair history, texture, color, and styling habits should guide product choices instead of a one-size-fits-all list.

Your hair has its own variables

Porosity, density, scalp needs, chemical history, and styling habits all affect what a product should do. A popular recommendation can still be completely wrong for your hair.

Products should help the salon work last

Color-safe cleansing, heat protection, moisture, and hold can help preserve the work we did. I am less interested in a crowded shelf than in a few products that actually earn their place.

Your routine can change

Color, a texture service, extensions, a major haircut, and even a West Texas weather shift can change what the hair needs. Revisit the routine when something stops working.
